Amy Smith

This is me, and my little family, in a photo that is far too old because it's rare that we are all dressed nicely and make it in front of the camera together.  I can thank my dear friend and fellow photographer Tina Stinson for this once in a lifetime capture.  What can I tell you about me?  I've loved photographs for as long as I can remember.  I gravitated towards the lens and viewfinder that could block out the world and concentrate on one little moment.  Whether it be a moment of perfection or imperfection, sometimes both are just as beautiful.  I specialize in children and families, and humans in general.  I love capturing life as it happens, the posed moments, the chaos, the happiness and the love.

I straddle both the portrait world and the commercial side of things.  I've been honored to have a career that's now spanned 13 years and taken me around the globe and back.  If you'd like to hire me, head on over to the contact page, I'd love to hear from you.
